Fall 2022/ Inaugural Issue

Welcome to the inaugural edition of Women of Hope, a magazine that is dedicated to empowering and uplifting black women. In this issue, we tackle important issues such as domestic violence and autism, shedding light on these often misunderstood topics and providing resources and support for those who may be impacted by them. We are also excited to introduce the debut of the Fat, Black, and Baptist blog, which shares the stories and experiences of black women who are challenging societal norms and stereotypes. In an exclusive interview, our Editor-in-Chief, Dorcas Pittman, shares her personal journey of turning pain into purpose, as she discusses her experience as a childhood trauma survivor and how she used her experiences to become a certified trauma coach and founder of Hope In Her Coaching.
